  1. Where to get this square tubing frame

Any steel / metal shop will have it in large sticks to cut to size. I would use aluminium but it will be a bit more expensive for material and welding.
  2. FB700 Carrier rail issue

Wanted to wait until I had printed for a week or so until I updated the post. It appears that the issue was the vertical encoder strip (my definition) on the service end of the carrier rail on the input side. Have to remove the service end cap to even see it. I have since printed about 8000...
  3. FB700 Carrier rail issue

Replaced the service end carrier rail actuator (jack). Didn't work. Cleaned the carrier rail height encoder (I guess that is what it is) and has worked fine today, we'll see what fresh hell awaits me tomorrow. Question as to terminology. When you say re calibrate are you referring to the...

Noticed you had posted about buying channel letters wholesale. Have a client looking for them and have never done anything with them. We are just a cheap political sign company. Any help as to reputable companies that make these would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Do you have a UPS for your printer?

My problem was too much voltage. We had 268v (power company said they could go as high as 270v by law) and the FB didn't like it all. We had to step down to 220/230 to keep the machine from throwing error codes, the surge protector keeps a constant voltage..
  7. Do you have a UPS for your printer?

I bought mine from this place. https://greenlightups.com/ They sell new and refurbished units and have great customer service. We bought one for our FB700 and it works great.
  8. Question Best flatbed for printing corrugated plastic

FB700/750. We are the same type shop as you, 1/2/3 color screen printing. We bought used FB700 last year and it is great for the short runs as well as small full color jobs. On express (2nd lowest/fastest setting) we get decent prints at 50 ds 18X24 an hour and around 12 4'X8' ss an hour...

Sorry used wrong word, thermistor. They are the tops of the ink reservoirs on the carriage.
  10. Need Help FB700 DROPPING OUT MAGENTA NEED HELP ASAP!

I had that problem and it was the glass tubes inside the thermosensors being crusted up with ink. I cleaned them with a q-tip and some head flush solution and they worked fine. The crusted ink makes the printer think the thermosensor tanks are full when they are empty. Good luck. (BE VERY...
  11. Need Help FB700 LC head not filling, not holding ink

We had a similar problem and found that it was caramelized ink inside the reservoir cap around the glass sensors (not sure of terminology here). Cleaned them and works fine again.

Global Garage seems to have quite a bit of used equipment.
  14. Need Help Colour Fluctuation On HP FB750

I had that problem with magenta and after much frustration found that it was bad ink. Put a new cartridge in, purged a few times, and the problem went away, other than having a full box of bad ink.
