  1. Tape measure or hand?

Just had a guy email me a picture of some letters on a boat he wanted to replace. I asked if he could get me dimensions. His reply was that was why he put his hand by the letters so I could see what size they were (which I thought it was weird the way he had his hand in the picture, but I...
  2. Black / White Vehicle Chevron?

Page 22 of Fellers catalog is Avery V-8000, printable prismatic reflective vinyl. I used some on a wrecker, printed a light blue and white chevron to match the color of the wrecker. It prints very nice.
  3. repo

I've fortunately only had one time where I got jerked around about being paid the balance on an installed sign. It went on for a couple of weeks, them forgetting their checkbook, the person writing checks was out, etc. I decided I'd spend a couple of minutes on a banner design saying Beware of...
  4. Chevron Production

I would look at Oracal's Oralite V98, which is pre-printed 30" chevron striping. Or Avery's V-8000 if you want to print your own.
  5. Need Help Mdo For Project

The supplier I use, Wensco, can get and sometimes has in stock Alupanel ACM at 6'6" x 10', but it's only 3mm thick. So it is a product that is available if you can find a local vendor for it.
  6. Logo Advice And Opinions

Here's my take on this. I would spend some more time and tweak a few of the letters a bit more if this were the direction I was going with the logo.
  7. Blowing A$$holes Tires

Gotta love our Indiana a$$holes. My shop is next to an alley that leads to a bar and I have somebody that instead of driving through the alley entrance, they drive across my grass, sidewalk, and parking lot for a 15' shortcut. And they don't just gingerly drive across, they make sure to try...

    Thanks Tiki, really appreciate it!
  9. Font Help Please

I need to create some secondary copy with this font, but can't find it. Thanks for the help.
  10. Review For Pop Up Banner

Yes, it's completely assembled with a carrying case and set-up instructions. I was impressed, especially for the price. It wasn't a true banner though, but more of a thin plastic, not sure the best way to describe it. I guess that is why it is considered a "No Curl" banner.
  11. What Are You Guys Jamming To Latelly

Twiddle, Greensky Bluegrass, and The Revivalists lately.
  12. Roland SP-300i

    sold
  13. Shop truck critique

Nice and clean, which can't be said for most wraps. I like the idea of doing one red and one blue.
  14. Printer upgrade - Roland vs. Mutoh

I'm getting ready to upgrade my Roland SP-300 to a 54" machine. I've been extremely happy with the Roland and had planned on getting one of the new Roland TruVIS machines. My Fellers rep wanted to quote me a new Mutoh, so I said go ahead. With the Mutoh, I can get a new 1324x plus a new 54"...
  15. Looking for a supplier for outdoor "board" displays

I just installed one of these. I used Pannier Graphics - Wayside Exhibit Bases and Frames - Fiberglass Signs and Interpretive Panels . As Bill said, not cheap, but well made and the customer loved it.
