  2. Need Help Returning to origin

Thank you Joe! This is exactly what I wanted and so simple! Which Denco do you work from?
  3. Need Help Returning to origin

On my old FC7000, I could set a point of origin and scroll out the amount I wanted, seeing if it was still properly aligned, and then hit some other button and it would zip back to the point of origin. I have not figured out how to do this on my FC 9000, and any instruction would be welcomed.

  5. Adobe Fonts in Flexi

  6. Self Healing Table Top

I ordered a small Magic Mat from Speed Press and found that to be what we want. We didn't like the Rhino mats. The Magic Mats are only available in small pieces there though. I have not found anyplace selling 4x8's.

I ordered some small mats as samples since no one has samples.
  8. Self Healing Table Top

I see that it says new member next to my name. I've been here since this site's beginnings. Just don't visit much anymore. There were folks talking about a supply place called Yello. I sent them a note also.
  9. Self Healing Table Top

Stacey K, thanks for the response. I tried searching all over the internet and making numerous phone calls before posting here asking for help. The company I used to buy from is no longer and I tried to find the individuals that worked there back then to no avail also.
  10. Raster to vector conversion software

Been a Flexi user for many years, but the bitmap tracing I'm getting with Graphic Tracer is far superior.
  11. Self Healing Table Top

Years back when looking for these to cover a 4x8 table top I ran into a company that bought these mats after they were poured and they cut them to shape and printed the lines. They sold me a few of the rough shapes and I could glue them on the table top and go around the edges with a laminate...
  12. Flexi 8.5 w/ Graphtec FC-9000 compatibility?

What do you mean by cutting cropmarks? Why and how?
  13. Need Help Getting Stickers to Stick

I have a customer having trouble getting stickers to stick to these new fiberglass/plastic portable toilet doors. I told him "Sure, I'll show you how." I washed one with Dawn and water, rinsed it and dried it. Wiped it with alcohol. Pulled out a torch and flamed it. Put a sticker on and it felt...
  14. Sandblast Rubber

Before there was sandblast resist, we used duct tape on the board. We'd cover the board with those 2" strips and then do a second layer at right angle to it. We'd cut it on the board and many years later heard the term "Weeding." That was 54 years ago. I still have a couple of those signs...
  15. Sandblast Rubber

That poses another problem. I'm getting signs together for a few weeks before I go into the sandblast booth to blast. When I fire up the equipment I want to have enough to blast to keep me there for a goo part of the day. I don't like suiting up frequently. We're cutting rubber and weeding and...
  16. Sandblast Rubber

we use redwood and ceramic and porcelain tiles
  17. Sandblast Rubber

Less than a month ago. That stuff is getting hard to find. I like to buy 30" rolls. Seems to be the most practical for us.
  18. Sandblast Rubber

I've always done what you do, only his time it isn't working. We tried three different rolls of transfer paper, thinking it might be a bum roll. The same stuff works perfectly with vinyl. Used a sponge to wipe it down and the powder would clog the sponge. That's why we did a triple wipe down...
  19. Sandblast Rubber

For many years my choice of rubber has been the Anchor 116. We go through about a roll a month. The powder they put on the surface needs to be washed off before applying app tape. We've been triple washing and still not getting app tape to stick well enough to generate the transfer. Yesterday I...
