I can either use my old epson 9600 printer or pay a photolab to print out all the images. I was considering 40C-20R by 3m but it's only available in 54" rolls ( 2x more than what we...
I mostly build photobooths, and every once in a while some customer wants some vinyl lettering done. I used to use the cheap calendared stuff because my products are inside 99% of the time.
But I always wondered if paying 3.75X the price was worth it for the avery 900 vinyl?
Just using it for...
can anyone recommend a white opaque vinyl that I can use on polycarbonate sheet?
stuff I'm using now peels off and requires me to use two or 3 layers of it to really block out the led lights behind it. There are certain areas where leds shine through and I need white because other colors look...
I searched google, youtube, and this site and could only find one video that shows the yellow stain left on polycarbonate after it is laser cut.
here is a screen grab from that video:

I will be using white polycarbonate and don't...
For example:
1/16" white polycarbonate sheet $25 china vs $50 Usa
5mm thick one way acrylic mirror $140 china vs $410 usa
anyone importing directly from china? Obviously only economical for larger orders of at least a few thousand dollars since freight fees are around $800
would easily save me...
I have a kiosk we manufacturer and it uses a 24x48" piece of 1/4" thick one way mirror acrylic. The stuff is expensive and the thin film of aluminum that creates the transparent mirror scratches easily.

I often have to cut out rectangular holes in 0.062" aluminum sheet metal. I've tried various methods, nibblers, jig saw, but the best by far for a professional finish is a palm router with 1/8" carbide upcut bit using a router bushing and template guide. Looks like it was done by machine...
I sell kiosks made out of 80 mill thick prepainted white aluminum sheet metal. The finished box is about 1x2x3 feet in size with rounded corners. It gets moved around about once a week and customers often mess up the baked enamel paint on them.
I'm wondering if there is a covering that is easy...

I hired a new worker and he pays no attention to detail.
Needless to say I need to either rip off the work he did or find some kind of polycarbonate filler.

My plan is to fill in cracks and...
