I resolved the issue. Just had to go in and select the ink configuration for the machine and it went away. From what I’ve gathered head wash deletes out your current ink configuration and is waiting on you (user) to tell it what it is.
I bought a JFX200 EX last September and had the same issue our tech/ installer made notes on the install paper work he sent back to Mimaki. He came back in July and replaced the white/clear printhead and it is printing perfectly now.

I run a JFX EX with LUS-150 ink. I haven't had any adhesion issue on coro and can turn a sheet in around 7ish minutes at 300x450. It's definitely not the fastest but it gets the job done and for us the price point was very attractive.
