I'm going to be honest, I don't think it's a font. The three "s" are all slightly different. The two "o" are also different. The bottom of the "y" and "g" are completely different.
Fortunately most the stuff I send to them is one time use 8x8 backdrops with logos scanned off business cards supplied by the customer. I can't imagine trying to get them to print anything high quality.
I envy Signs365 where they basically require full size 100dpi JPEG.
About the PDF, in Flexi RIP you can tell it to crop the art to a few different options. This can be pretty handy if a file is exported properly. You can crop to the trim box and add bleeds in the rip. Or lets say the artboard...
Yeah, you obviously know nothing about Arlington. Ironically, Arlington is literally called "Entertainment Capitol of Texas." I hate Arlington as much as the next guy, but I don't go pretending I'm better than someone "cause I used to live there." I'm also not the guy that has to ask permission...
You're not going to be able to get those exact same images for free. If you do, you've likely gotten them from a less the reputable source. You can sometimes find good stuff on sites like unsplash and pexels, but...
Pexels: Don't sell unaltered copies of a photo or video, e.g. as a poster...
Parker Davis is a manufacture, can check and see who distributes for them in your area. Could use something like the SS-4 or SS-3. I'm pretty sure Grimco and Nglantz carry them.
What eahicks said. BUT I've recently demo'd the Onyx TruFit nesting program and it's pretty nice. It world work really well for someone doing flatbed printing/cutting. It was a sticker shock price for me, since it's a feature I get built into a program I already use, but it's pretty good. If I...

1) I'd suggest creating a new thread on this. 2) In that thread, please tell use your requirements for pulling the files from Illustrator to Flexi. There may be a way to accomplish what you need in Illustrator. Or it will at least help us provide an additional export option.
I don't think it's going to be as simple as plug and play and I doubt that's a VGA but probably a DB9 port for the tech. I couldn't find any pictures of it, but you'll know right away by the number of holes. If it's 15, then it could be a VGA port, if not, then it's a DB9 and you won't be able...
I'm guessing there is a reason they didn't make a 380, but I know 100% we'd have had one. For a shop like mine an r2000 would never make sense, but a 104in r2r in the 300/500 form factor would have. We looked into a 1500, but we'd have to boot our sister company out or have a separate production...
