clearing over floor decals

I applied graphics to a floor and they look great, but not sure how long they will last with all the traffic. My customer wants to apply a clear paint over them so they hold up. What paint should I use? Part of the graphic is die cut, and the other is a digital print with laminate over that. Thank you :)

I wouldn't. I wouldn't even give a suggestion of a clear. Too many potential problems. The one thing they can do is use whatever wax/sealer is recommended for the type of floor they have.

We've had customers wax right over floor graphics, I can't say that it helped longevity, but some have been there for about a year in a grocery store. Lots of heavy cart traffic and foot traffic.
