  1. Looking for 4" Illuminated Letters for Outdoor Use - Any Suggestions?

I think the epoxy resin letters are a great idea. I'm just not sure about the longevity of the product. The sample that I have doesn't appear that it is able to deconstruct if service is needed in the future. Then again, I'm looking for an illuminated solution for 4" letters, and I know that...
  2. Looking for 4" Illuminated Letters for Outdoor Use - Any Suggestions?

I've looked at the epoxy resin LED letters, and that seems like a great option, but I thought I would seek the wisdom of the members at Signs101 before going any further down the epoxy route. With that in mind, does anyone know of a US-based company that specializes in epoxy letters?
  3. New wrap for shop truck

Sorry that I have nothing to contribute to this thread, but... I do find it necessary to inform you that I thoroughly enjoyed your link. Very inspiring stuff in there. Thank you!
  4. Hope all are safe from storms last nite

We took quite a beating here in Central Arkansas. Fortunately for me, our shop made it through unscathed. And for some crazy reason, my neighborhood saw very little storm activity, but everything around us pretty much got leveled.
  5. How to be a Successful Sign Shop

I won't say that you're wrong, but I don't have time for stuff like this. I'm too busy trying to take over the world, and I don't need the help of competitors that spend way too much time trying to keep up with us as it is. It's all about me, me, and more me. I couldn't care less about...
  6. using the bad wrap templates

While I don't take their measurements and scaling for gospel, it's far from what I would consider "trash". Sorry you've had bad experiences.
  7. using the bad wrap templates

I don't believe they work with a program other than Photoshop, but I've been wrong a couple of times before.
  8. using the bad wrap templates

I've found the Bad Wrap templates a breeze to work with. Do your design in the groups already specified and labeled in the template, hide the masked layer, flatten, convert to CMYK, open in Flexi, RIP at 1000% after proper paneling (specifying where you want your seams.
  9. Oracal says....Laminate reflective vinyl

My first thought was a failure due to wet application. But after seeing those other photos, I'm baffled. I sure hope it works out for you all. Please keep us posted.
  10. Knowing where you stand... I guess?

And this is where I will shamelessly say that you should've called or emailed me for a channel letter quote! :thumb:
  11. I Need Some Installation Advice!

Also, I know that several of you all have mentioned the RollePro, which I have here at the shop. However, I'm of the understanding that it's mostly for rivets that are aligned vertically in columns - leave an open air channel through the rivet column, heat, roll, done. But the rivet patterns...
  12. I Need Some Installation Advice!

A quick update... For the record, vertical is the way to go as far as I'm concerned. It's the industry standard method, and that's what I tell our customers. However, all of the prints had already been made before I was short a wrap installer and learned that I was stuck with the labor. With...
  13. I Need Some Installation Advice!

Nothing, huh? :/ Alrighty, then... I suppose I'm on my own. After looking at it again this morning, I'm thinking I'll wrap the molding in separate panels.
  14. New Olive Garden Logo...

I think that both logos look as if they came out of my personal design portfolio, which is laughable at best.
  15. I Need Some Installation Advice!

So I don't currently have a wrap installer, which leaves me to do the tedious work wrapping this thing with a small crew of extremely inexperienced guys. I'll admit that I'm not the best when it comes to wrapping, but I can hold my own for the most part. Basically, I'm confident that this...
