that's not actually what im thinking of... it was very basic and very general.
it said something like:
30 second commercial = xx,xxx dollars
write up in well known magazine = x,xxx dollars
wrap on vehicle = x,xxx dollars
..... it was more of a media outlet cost than anything
i remember a while back there was a thread on here about the different cost between advertising (tv, print, vinyl wrap...)... does anybody have any insight where i can find this info (on here or on the web) or where that thread went?

... you could watermark your work....
or you could even charge an astronomical amount, if they want it that bad they will pay up and you have made your profit .. if they dont pay up that you art work is safe

i can actually see the excess stuff. my best friends wife needs a heart filled with zebra print (cut on a plotter) ,weird i know, but hey it's money right haha
thanks for your help SIgn_boy, that worked great .. now im just left with the excess around the heart...hummm... let me try working on how to get rid of the excess garbage! :doh:

how do you get zebra print into a heart without re-drawing the print IN the heart?.. i have the zebra print that needs to be used

hey there.. i have AI cs2 and what im basically trying to do is take a background image (pattern, kinda like cheetah or zebra print) and im trying to get a shape out of it (heart,diamond,car,apple) ... i have the background image (vectored) that i need to use and i have the shape (vectored) that...
...sorry i just had to ask... my last name is gunn as well .. you dont find too many people with that last name so i thought i would look into it . thanks for your response. hopefully the gunn name brings me good things in the sign industry!! :)
