    Switched a Mutoh 1624 (ECO model) from water based to eco solvent, used distilled water to clean the lines, then a mixture of distilled water with alcohol, then alcohol then solvent doing 2 ink charges in each step, took about 3 days to complete, it's working perfectly.

    Latex uses less ink than cheap quality solvent inks. Although Latex ink consumption is almost the same or slightly more than using premium ink like Mutoh UMS

    I think it depends on different factors: RIP, Color Profile, Media & ink type. We usually use 40/30/30/100 (CMYK)

    Based on last period printing POS signs, 3918 square meters consumed 51.5 liters without over coat. That is 13.14 ml per square meter.

    No more ink for Mimaki SWJ-320 in Egypt. I will not be able to order ink from abroad dew to current regulations. We have some types of inks in the market that will suitable for Ricoh printheads but there will still be problems with the ink chips. Does any one has a solution for the chips ?
