  1. Upcycling ideas

We also donate to schools. There is a central donation point in town that all schools/teachers can pull from. If I have time, I'll cut out 1" letters and numbers and various shapes, so that they can label stuff if they wish or teach the alphabet. I also try to reduce it to a size that fits in...
  2. Question Ear Damage from Printers

You may also want to visit an audiologist and have your hearing checked. It might be that there is something else going on, and the equipment is worsening it.
  3. Uggghhhh

I once did signs for a fun run. The sponsor logos were on coroplast stepstake signs along the route, with each logo being about 18". At least four of the logos were 71 dpi. I asked them to please get better artwork, contact the sponsor, but it never happened. We even sent samples of how bad...
  4. People are getting edgy lately...

It does hide part of the face. And many people already have issues with facial recognition as is. It's no different than a bandit wearing a bandanna over half of his face. And I have heard many people feel more isolated and less recognized in masks. I don't feel it is a far leap to think that...
  5. People are getting edgy lately...

I think the anonymity of masks does add a level to jerk behavior. It does help cover up people's expressions. It's harder to tell when someone is joking. It's harder to tell who the crazy is that you should avoid. It's like being on the internet, but in real life, in a way. A-holes & trolls will...
  6. Just throw a chain around it!

    I'm marveling at the R OO M
  7. I need these labels...

When I worked in a grocery store, we had a lot of fun with the deli stickers. "I'm Fresh" ended up on a lot of name tags and Summer's Eve boxes. Other winners were "Reduced to Sell", "Tasty" and I'm Delicious".
  8. Rant Seriously Kidz?

    Kids Against Maturity lol
  9. Do you do anything special for blade disposal

Any container will work. I have a plastic microwave soup can, comes with a lid that has a sip hole in it. Once full, duct tape it shut, and buy another Cambell's grab & go microwave soup.
  10. Question What am I worth?

As an hourly employee, I'm going to chime in with my 2 cents. I am probably underpaid for my experience and skills and work load. But I have a great employer. And having had bad employers, I value that. I literally use to work for a company that had me contemplating crashing my car on the way...
  11. Contactless pickup area working great

Sound good. I'm glad it is working out for you. Especially good for those rush orders, where the customer may need to pick up later or extra early.
  12. I don't even remember applying for this!

Wooo! With that kind of money, you can buy your own principality in Nigeria. lol
  13. Have you affected your business this time?

We work with mostly hospitals, so we are still very steady.
  14. Did you file for PPP?

I'm hearing all over that Ruth's Chris got $20 million. That is a chunk. https://www.gq.com/story/ruths-chris-small-business-steakhouse
  15. Aged UV ink

Yes! I run a HP Scitex FB500 and had their techs tell me that even close to expiration date, there can be issues. And to be honest, the last few batches of fresh ink I've gotten, a tech told me had "subpar performance issues". I manually shake each box at least once a week now. But once it...
