    Metallic is a spot, not sure about Flexi but both Onyx and Caldera support it. No need to print one then go back, just requires quite a few passes. So if you've printed white before, treat it the same. That being said, the metallic is nothing special, you get way better results printing on chrome.

    Try to get the pressure to the point where weeding is JUST right, if it's too easy to weed then you could run into vinyl digging itself inside the backing causing those issues. That's just my 2 cents on this, it could just be the application tape you're using is low-tack and this vinyl requires...

    Gradient Background Image

    Googled "blurred gradient background" gives a bunch of similar images of different colors, maybe you could start from there and tweak image search. It's like those pinterest images with the quotes backgrounds.

    You could try only printing the black ink without the cyan etc... then maybe play with passes to get the desired rich black.

    Last I heard CWT was under a lawsuit by RollsRoller for a patent of sorts. Not sure how that would affect CWT tables warranty in the future if things go bad for them.
