had fantastic success with nazdar inks. also tried sun and du pont inks and they were shocking
clean the glass well with meths, make sure it's dry and away ya go

yeah thats where i was heading - was trying to get a new profile into the "new document" profiles folder as a default - then you could choose it (like choosing "web" or "print") but cant get it to read the files - did a template and put that in there too - no joy on that

ok mac based here with illy cs3 - whats your set up?
right - if the contour cut interacts with transparency then saving it as an eps will convert it to process most likely.
if you can't use .ai files then your best solution is to save out as pdf higher than a version 1.3. past 1.3 and live...
oh - there's also the trap function where i think you can use negative traps (ideal for metal decorators) which is more than choke - it creates air-gaps

select next two letters, pathfinder>merge>expand
select both elements>merge>expand
bingo done!
