I'm trying to print 50' banners and for some reason when I rip and print, it prints something that's not there (wide rectangle). I ripped a pdf file and it printed an object close to the start so that was fine. Then I tried an eps file and it printed another object 8 feet in.

It tends to buckle every couple feet!
I talked to the their service/demo guy that test their printers and medias and he said the banner is defective. If it was just heat issue then it would be from start until I stop the print not every couple feet or so.

I'm having some trouble printing on this 14oz ultra smooth banner.
I'm getting a wrinkling effect. I tried different heat settings. 5 degrees more on the pre heat than the platten and no luck. Tried 10 and still no luck. Tried turning the preheat off altogether and still no luck.

tried that but our printer prints the small squares for cutting so those starts .25" from the edge and 1" for the image.
where in onyx do i find the option to turn off those registrations?

now i'm trying to print on a 54" material but it will only let me print 52.5" inch, is there something i'm missing? the job is only 53" wide.
i'm running onyx for the rip and if i turn off the area reduction it won't let me print. any ideas?
