  1. HP Scitex FB700 Blues printing purple.

I've tried multiple profiles on different quality settings in in order to see whether that was the case or not. I've also downloaded the trial version of Onyx. We have been using Flexi thinking that it might have been a software issue.

I will say that multiple people have asked me have we accidentally put the wrong ink in the wrong place but I'll double-check that and that's not the case for sure.
  3. HP Scitex FB700 Blues printing purple.

yes we've been able to print good Blues in the past and nothing has changed other than maybe the material is coming from a different vendor. However the material isn't so drastically different that it would merit this kind of extreme change.

I've got a follow-up if that's the case Ace. What would be the procedure to fix that?
  5. HP Scitex FB700 Blues printing purple.

Was told yesterday by vendor that it may be a corrupted cart. Supposed just send them a picture this morning to determine whether that's the case or not. I'll keep you guys updated thanks for the help

    No vertical banding.
  7. HP Scitex FB700 Blues printing purple.

It's doing it on all profiles. Was using manufacturer media types. Was having issues with ink curing. Just found out I could change the lamp settings if I created media types. I'm pretty new to all this. When new problems arise I'm at a loss.
  8. HP Scitex FB700 Blues printing purple.

Ok, so I've run every type of test, calibrated (not the best results) however all heads are printing correctly on Photo and Photo Plus. But my cyan looks no different than my light cyan. When I try to print darker blues they look more purple. I've thoroughly manually cleaned the heads. Any ideas?

  11. Banding problem

I had the same issue not too long ago. The thing that worked for me was cleaning the crap out of the grit rollers. Use Isopropyl as it has no oil in it. After that, I performed a feed correction. Its on page 103 of the user manual. Here's a link in case you don't still have it...
  12. Need to outgas?????

I have a question that is related to this thread. Does the gassing process still take place if the printed material is still on a roll or is it a MUST to lay out your prints in order for them to get the O² needed to start the gassing process? Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

  14. Suggestions XC-540 material raises and the head hits it

I'm doing this now. Well, I've mopped the floor in front of it and since it is only 72" panels, cutting them one panel at a time. That's what I meant by making money on it. This machine has been a money pit. Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

Your probably right. But when I say we just had a tech out, I mean yesterday. Machine was running smooth then (of course). I came in this morning to finish up and now this. I was using the edge clamps. Now I've your horizonal banding. I'm looking for my user guide now. Thanks for the help...
