encapsulated post script adobe illustrator AI could be similar to say, saving as corel (cdr) its the native save format for illustrator. some rip programs like ai, some like eps, some take both, etc. eps is more "standard" than AI, similar to cdr (which is hated amongst some types of printers)

uncheck the tiff header option. I just did a sample and went from 8.15mb to 110k. ;) Oh, and going to save as for AI files is better than exporting as ai.

If there is text, convert it to curves. Make sure all updates are installed set memory to 65% or so. I have mine set at 75% but I have 4gigs on a 64bit Vista. Check your printer too, sometimes some smaller desktop printers can't handle such a large file or have memory overloads.

Doesnt sound like it. The key needs to be installed in the proper port. If it is in there, swap it around and make sure it is registering. Dan, how do you cut direct from Corel? I've got an "old" Roland Camm1Pro...

Hrmm I'll ahve to try that... I just used the magic wand quick mask for a long time and adjusted the anti alias... or finished and feathered. I might have to try it.
