It must of not posted before, but here it is. 5" numbers to be mounted onto metal and wood (around 120 numbers) Thickness not a big issue. Old hotel, hence the style of the type.

Any reason why you are designing in PS? You should use Corel or Illustrator to create files. You can easily make files that would be too big in PS to less than 1/12th the size in any of the others.
