  1. Falcon Jr. will not print a test print or print

Headboard is on top of the carriage. Has two cables one for black and one for color going to the heads. Paco
  2. Falcon Jr Color Not Printing

Sorry all already discussed by PM. Paco
  3. Manufacturer Refurbished Printhead?

I am curious what refurbished means coming from my technical back ground as printer engineer. Epson DX2 heads are piezo heads. These heads can not be disassembled and parts replaced. So if nozzles are blocked then the only thing that can be done is a circular flush through the head with...
  4. Manufacturer Refurbished Printhead?

You have to read it different! Printhead manufacturered by Epson refurbished by 3rd party company. Paco
  5. Calibrating print length?

In the printer menu on the machine look for X-length. Print a 300 mm length square and compensate the value. Media transport distance update. Paco

Can not comment on CYMK as I never dealed with them. You migth contact member "Chester215" on this forum. He still has some brand new DX2 color heads (I was told) for a lower price as 750$. :-) no not 150$ but in between. Send him a PM and tell him I send you. maybe worth to try. BTW Last...

In my humble opinion you have tried the max. Why a new head is clogged is a mystery. If you have a ultra sonic jewlery bath you can try that as a last option. No idea if the rescue companies can rescue this head. Problem with the DX2 heads is the current price as the heads are not in production...

Sorry I was out of the country. Epson DX2 heads come without ink or other fluids inside delivered. If by pushing GENTLY cleaning fluid through the head with a syringe and observing the nozzles output and you can see the fluid coming out evenly in straigth lines then your nozzles outputs can be...

Hmmm, The manual pull and pool up in the capping station is a sign the head is flushed through with ink and then the next test print should give better printout. Are the new heads really new or are they refurbished? Paco

If the head is on the cappingstation and pushed to the rigth hand side. Place a tube on the exit of the cappingstation and hook it to a syringe and suck with the syringe. Listen if you can hear air sound. If you do then the problem is not a full closed capping but there is a air leak. As you...

I did not mentioned the WASHING or Dump or Initial. You mixed up. In the menu go to Utility then scroll to Clean where you have two options Standard and powerfull and to do colors or black. Do not select washing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or other functions. As you already did...

Dampers should be half filled with a syringe first and then placed on the head. Then disconnect the tube from capping to pump and use the syringe to pull ink. Check if the foam is getting wet and the three colors are nicely seperated. The head must be on the capping and pushed fully rigth during...

If all is new I would not use aceton or any solvent yet on the head surface. that is emergency only trick. Use the single syringe trick as mentioned first. If the cappingstation and pump are new check for the tubes being open. If the old tubes are used this is the first thing to check for free...
