    The roland probably needs new pinch rollers. If they are left down for a long amount of time with no vinyl because the grits create an impression on the rubber.

    Try restarting all of your equipment. If not, check all of your cable connections, then inspect your cable. Then delete and re-create the plotter in production mgr.
