I have a VS-640. Not a VS-640i. 2 different models. VS-640 came just before the VS-640i.

That's a VS-640i. Which came out just after we bought our VS-640. 2 different models.

Can you explain how I can get Versaworks 6 to read my VS-640? Every time I try to connect, it says that my printer is not supported by Versaworks 6. Also spoke to my dealer who told me that Roland said the printer is not compatible with Versaworks 6.

Thanks for the responses guys. Made sense to me that low head height is the way to go. Wasn't fond of that tech anyway and have since switched companies to maintain my machines. I'm glad I don't have to keep going crazy changing settings to fix the issue.
