  1. any tricks for getting UV ink off my belt?

Mira wipes have been renamed Scrubs Graffiti and paint remover. They work very well for belt cleaning and general UV ink clean up. http://www.advantagesgs.com/Toryon-Technologies-Mira-Cleaning-Wipes
  2. Rolls roller or CWT table?

It does not get in the way. I actually like to use it as it gives you many options for positioning your hands to move the beam. Rolls roller now has a new version called the Rolls X that does not have the top beam, at a more affordable price. My preference would be to go with a top cross beam...
  3. Laminating with a Rollsroller

Tony C has the right idea. If you are laminating a cut piece treat it as you would if you were applying it to a sheet. Cut the laminate and use the same process as applying to a cut sheet. This will give you the best results with the least amount of waste.
  4. Anybody remember this old cutter?

Could be a cool display for customers maybe in a lobby area? Cleaned up with some good signage it could be part of a company story / timeline piece.
  5. Has anyone ordered the new S70600 or the S60600?

The new Epson S40, S60, and S80 are very exciting products. We already have many placements and our customers are loving the speed and quick out-gassing allowing for same day lamination. You should take a look at our new latex certified banner products. Excellent performance and consistency. http://www.advantagesgs.com/Products-Store-SignSupplies-Vinyl-Banner-Ink-Printer-Paper-Foils-Tape-Software/164
  7. Every Heard of a Emblem EASYLAM Junior V Laminator??

For 5k that doesn't hit half of what I would want in a laminator. Check this out GFP 255 and for a little bit more you can have heat assist + additional features GFP 463
  8. Any benefit to using more UV ink?

More ink usually equals less adhesion. The pigments should fade equally if the end result is relatively close with both print modes.
  9. HP discontinuing supplies 780, 790

The Seiko cleaning supplies will work the same as the hp products.
  10. FB700 Full Bleed Printing

They work really well even after it's fully cured. If its really bad I just let the wipe sit over the area for a minute then use it like a scrubbing pad to remove the ink. You can use the wipes even after they are saturated with ink. I just keep using it until it's falling apart.
  11. FB700 Full Bleed Printing

Try mirawipes from Advantage. I use them all the time on our demo units. http://www.advantagesignsupply.com/Toryon-Technologies-Mira-Cleaning-Wipes
  12. Mimaki JV33-160 - missinG yellow

The trailing cables from the main board to the carriage are bad. I've seen this issue many times in the field.
  13. JV33-160 white ink worth it?

Unless your planning on printing only on clear materials it's not a good option.
  14. HP FB700 & Fuji Acuity OEM Ink only?

We offer a solution for the Fuji and Oce line. INX is the provider. This is a color compatible solution with a delta E of less than 1. The ink is also a pour over chemically compatible solution. CMYK + W This ink also offers a better adhesion than the oem ink. No one at this...
