you can perf cut with some plotters, we perf cut on our graphtec. I believe summa has a perf cut feature also
  2. Can you use a flatbed without A/C or heat

Our CET hates any climate change, we have gotten to the point that our print room is heated/ AC and humidity controlled to try and keep it printing halfway decent day in and day out... Seems like most others don't seem to have a problem with the flatbeds they have, so maybe just don't buy CET
  3. Is this possible???

I would print it on 3m IJ180mC-114, Clear printable wrap material and print a white base under the image and use a halftone to fade to the trailers paint color. Plenty of wholesale printers who can print white ink could handle the printing for you and you could give your client what they are...

  5. Lead times

We run 3-5 days production on decal orders, banners, yard signs, a-frames and other things we would consider "standard" signage.... Things like vehicle graphics and any onsite installs are project size and schedule dependant. Right now we are booked out for vehicles through the end of next...

  7. What are your best months?

Thanksgiving - new years is always slow for us sign/ vehicle graphic wise but picks up with some of our other services. The rest of the year is packed.

  10. Printer recommendation. Not VG540

The small company. I feel like turn over on staff would be less so you will most likely be dealing with the same people all the time. They will know you more personally and know your past issues better. my $.02
  11. Printer recommendation. Not VG540

Depends what you consider "A lot". People say you need to load it to the take up to start and thats simply not true, we run the lead edge just past the heater and go, its maybe 12" of lead edge waste. If your vacuum settings are good head strikes aren't an issues... its when people have the vac...
  12. Printer recommendation. Not VG540

We are very happy with our HP L360. A buddy of mine just picked up his 2nd muttoh and has nothing but good things to say about those also. We both have our printers paired with Graphtec plotters and its a great combo for both shops.
  13. How to return Roland Printer

Give big systems a call, Jason is our salesman. They carry epson and I'm sure they would be happy to help. Their tech is very knowledgeable and easy to work with, we have texted him during the day with questions and he always replies as fast as he can.
  14. How to return Roland Printer

Are you stuck on getting a new roland? If not try calling big systems in menomonee falls. We had our mimaki get struck by lightning and we had a brand new HP ordered and installed in under a week. The week we were down they printed any jobs we needed while waiting for our new printer to get...
