  1. Is there a way to change the orientation of the nozzle checker?

Nozzle check every time? Don't waste material and time. I did nozzle check 10 times (maybe) in 3 years. And that was just to be on the safe side. :) I have printed around 130.000 sqf.
  2. Error 07 P-head init

Thank you Neil for the idea what to look for. There was ink on the connectors going into the head and in to the connectors in the head. I cleaned the cables, end of the connectors and even the connectors in the head, as much as i could, but the error is still present. Do i need to "clear" the...
  3. Error 07 P-head init

2 weeks ago my printer started occasionally beeping during the printing and showing this message on display: "Error 07 - P-head init". Last week beeping would be pretty constant during the printing, but it did not influence the print. This morning I clicked the TEST DRAW button and the P-head...
  4. Creating sequential numbered artwork

And on your Versacam you could use VDP function if you are using Roland VersaWorks. There are lots of You tube videos on this topic.
  5. Mimaki Ujv160 Firmware Update

Any luck with the UJV? I pressume that your water heater is working, water level is ok...?
  6. Summa Or Graphtec Cutter

Had a Summa D60 and traded in for a biger cutter, Graphtec CE6000 120 AMO. 20% of the time I curse and say to myself that i should of take Summa D140 or even better T series (Summa tangential). Graphtec is OK, but Summa is 2 steps ahead. It's so freaking precise, never missed a mark and went...
  7. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

I stayed a bit longer on saturday, printed a bunch of same files with different marks (type 1 and 2), sizes and thickness of the marks, on different materials... And you know what? I called this morning Summa seller to tell him that i won't be needing him, cause I mastered the art of reading...
  8. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

I have called them and they told me that I have probably unlocked Reg. mark layer or something like that. I even made new file exactly like original without touching any single layer but it did not make any difference. In the end what made it read the marks correctly was the way I described in...
  9. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

Nice tip Wayne, thanks. This morning it's time for a new message from cutter. :) "Moving Destination is out of area" New files printed with plenty of room from all sides. Biger, thicker marks. It reads 3 marks, then just passes by mark No. 4 and goes to the start position. After several...
  10. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

I see where my problem probably lies... Both, you DKGrafix and GAC05 are making reg. marks as big as they can be. On the other hand I'm trying to make them as little as possible so I can have more space for the decals to be printed. I'll try to edit my work method and see if it gives better...
  11. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

What size and thicknes are your marks? Distance from the print and from the edge of the material? Hope that I am not bothering you, just trying to figure out difference between my marks and yours. Couple of print+cut jobs done today and I'm getting better every time. :)
  12. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

Firmware Ver. 2.00 STD what ever that STD stands for. :ROFLMAO: Yellow decals are brought to me, including design and the background color the client want it to be. It is for some natural ingridients parfums sold in the Greece. Personaly, I don't like them, but if the customer is happy...
  13. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

I think that your advice about the light source may have some logic. Some test i did were conducted under artificial light (neon light in the shop), and they were bad. This morning, with more natural light coming to Graphtec, i did couple of tests and cutter managed to read every single mark...
  14. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

Also, i have tried it with Type 1 marks on yellow vinyl and it was able to read the marks time after time. I was like :omg: Marks were very small (7mm) and very close to the edge of the material. This sticker is 1.25"x1" in size. Do you find this margin of error acceptable on your Graphtec?
  15. CE6000 problem reading Registration Marks

:ROFLMAO: @ "gulikoze" DKGraphics, you will have to find appropriate term to translate this word in english. Machine is brand new, from the box, so the firmware is up to date. Must call my service guy and see if there is a slight chance to upgrade it to 8600 fw, as he said that this 2 cutters...
