We had this printer. Sold it a month ago. If it's been sitting awhile the ink will most likely dry up in the heads. I fixed this problem by soaking the heads in acetone or some similar slightly acidic liquid, over night. My boss used sos pads to clean the stained heads and it worked beautifully. i know they say not to touch the heads but what do you have to lose? it worked anyway.

Hi Jamey, I see you got this Solara UV2. I was wondering if you have service manual for this printer. I just got this printer. It was seating for a while. I am trying to prime the heads but I am getting message that pump cant push ink through. I dont know if the heads are dried. lines going from cartridges are clear no ink in them. Can i clean theese heads with ultrasonic cleaner or i need to get neew heads
