  1. New HP Latex 700 and 800 series - with White ink

I've followed the release of the HP Latex 700 and 800 series and I can only say that HP did a great job and improvements in many aspects and details like the body design (especially the lift curing module), the inks, the printheads and the 8" touch screen. I'm planning to buy the 700 W model and...
  2. New HP Latex 700 and 800 series - with White ink

Epson uses different technology than HP which relies on thermal printheads. The ink system on the new Epson R5000 is Ultrachrome RS which is resin pigments and also the printhead has smaller droplet size (4,9 pl) compared to 10 pl ink droplet on the HP Latex 700 and 800 series.
  3. New HP Latex 700 and 800 series - with White ink

You're wrong. Search for Epson SureColor SC-S80600.
  4. New HP Latex 700 and 800 series - with White ink

Did you heard about the SureColor SC-S80600? You can achieve better quality than any other printer and I don't know another printer that can hit 98% of PANTONE Solid Coated.
  5. Caldera vs ColorGate

Both Caldera and ColorGATE offer powerful and useful features but personally I use ColorGATE Productionserver 10 to manage the Epson SC-S40600 and the Roland GS-24 since the RIP provided with the printer (Epson Edge Print) don't support print and cut.
  6. What printer to get Epson or HP

All this talking about which better Eco-solvent and Latex printers is similar to Windows-macOS systems, Android-iOS smartphones, fuel-electric cars... Everyone is free to pick the tech, the device and the machine he considers suited for himself and for his business. I like to see people and...
  7. HP Latex Model comparison

Take a look at this comparison chart then decide which model is suited for your business :) http://www.gansdigital.com/products/hp_comparison_chart/
  8. Standalone Vinyl Plotter Software?

What's the brand and the model of the plotter ? Take a look at this software ;) https://www.easycutstudio.com/
  9. Epson s80600 - Orange Red durability

I have the S40600 and I can reach almost the same color gamut on the S80600. The secret is not the 9 color ink set but it's the RIP software. Before I purchase the printer I was told that the provided software will be Epson Edge Print which is a new RIP but It lacks many features like you can...

  11. Hp 560 or Epson s60600

Epson has by far the best and most reliable printhead. HP thermal printheads are trash compared to the Epson PrecisionCore. Epson PrecisionCore Printhead Technology Fact Sheet...
  12. Need a new printer - Besides latex

Here is my opinion in case you're planning to buy a new printer : - If you want a tough printer with color accuracy, print consistency and reliabality go with Epson SureColor S-Series. - If you want a versatile printer with an instant dry prints and immediate cut go with Mimaki UCJV Series...
  13. 1641SR reviews?

Comparing Mutoh to Epson is like comparing Toyota to Porsche. Roland, Mutoh and Mimaki have Epson DX printheads. The Epson SureColor use PrecisionCore printhead which is exclusive to Epson printers. I have an Epson SC-S40610 and I can tell you that 4 pass blows out 6 or 8 pass on HP Latex or a...
  14. Hp 560 or Epson s60600

Comparing an old model like the S30600 with an HP Latex 560 doesn't make sense !! I don't like comparing different technologies but if you really want to put an "equal" model to the 560 put the S80600 which blows up the Latex in everything. Each user has the right to pick the tech and the...
  15. Hp 560 or Epson s60600

When I said "unique" I meant the PrecisionCore printhead and not the droplet size which is certainly available in many printers brands. By the way Roland, Mimaki and Mutoh use Epson printheads like the DX5, DX6 and DX7 but the PrecisionCore is exclusively built for Epson printers.
