I don't have a Gerber printer. I have my material printed outside on a Vutek. Haven't tryed laminating with low heat yet. Sounds like a good idea..

mmmm..I suspect it might be hot laminated.

Here is a photo of what I mean. It was applied with a cold laminator. Same results with squeegee, water, etc.. 1st photo from top, 2nd is from underneath clear acrylic. I was told it is the glue used for the polyester. It does the same with the chrome effect film.

Also, you seem to have your own technique for creating the faux wood relief... how do you go about this? do you swoosh a hand held router / trimmer with a bullnose bit on ? lol.. I've seen similare done with a chain saw too.. or just plain old chisel?

I have the same cutter as you. I think Round man is right. Make sure the tool setting is set for blade and not pen. If it thinks it's a pen, the cutter will ignore any offset setting. Also, as you probably know, the parameters can be driven from the software of from the cutter, so make sure you...
