I'm looking to find a good printer/process for printing very small runs ( probably less than 250/month) of high-end custom packaging, mostly sleeves but other styles as well. I do not care one bit about speed, I need the absolute highest print quality possible, especially in greys. It would...
Does anyone have a good site to order parts in the US for LEF2-300 printers? Ours is having an intermittent loss of white and we haven't been able to get decent service for months so I'm going to start throwing parts at it if I can find a place to order them.
we'll give it a shot.
I still need a service manual and better parts supplier if anyone has one. We don't have time to wait for our tech when they don't reply to emails for days at a time.
Anyone have a good place in the US to order parts for an Lef2-300? And a service manual as well? Our tech hasn't been very responsive over the last 6 months or so, and I'd like to just fix the thing myself.
We've been getting no white for days at a time, then it'll work for a day or two and...
I've been trying to fix an issue with one of our 6042mkii printers. The table isn't level with the carriage from left to right, by a good 1.5-2mm. Checking with a bubble level, I can get the table level in both directions, but then the rail the carriage rides on is out of level (by a lot). If...
Everything looks fine. I replaced the rubber and cleaned everything, but it still sits at that angle. I'm ordering a new cap assembly to see if that fixes it.
Does anyone know a way to adjust the angle the cap stations are sitting when contacting the heads? I can't find anything in the service manual about it, and it's causing ink to leak out the side of the caps. I've checked the station height and that seems fine all around. They sit flat when...
I'm following this, as our epson S80 has just started having some banding issues after 4+ years, and it looks like the head 2 isn't putting out enough ink based on the color of the ink in the caps.
I can repair every other printer we have without any issue, but haven't had to tackle anything...
There shouldn't be any real issue with powering it off at night, as long as the main power is still on. It'll turn on and clean itself every so often. It might actually clean itself more often when powered off than when fully on and in local mode.
make sure your blade is extended enough and that it's calibrated properly. I usually pick my toughest material to cut when I set the blade depth, get that one working, then work on the rest by only changing the pressure.
The fan by the circuit boards make a little bit of noise just like a computer does but it's not noticeable.
I've had mine idle for weeks at a time with no issues when I start printing again. It does an excellent job of circulating the ink.
