DXF all the way, autocad tends to treat circles as very small straight lines connected together to form a circle which makes routing a pain and not always very smooth

AXYZ 6010 (10 ft x 6.5 feet bed) , basically go for the biggest bed you can afford and have room for - you won't regret it! and decent vacuum and a auto tool height sensor are a must. the rest such as auto tool change etc are nice to have but not critical

In the UK we tend to use 10mm foamex for the backboard if front-lit, or 5 mm acrylic if halo lit

we route magnet all the time - we use a 3mm carbide tool and just a standard path. The main thing is to seal the edges of the magnet against the table with some gaffer so the vacuum is maximised.
