Bought a refurbished Z6200 printer, it has firmware version KHN_01_00_07.1. If i try to install the latest firmware it fails. I'm pretty sure there was some version of the firmware you had to install before you could install newer ones. Does anyone know which version that is or where I can get...
The maintenance cartridge has been recently changed. All the components of the maintenance cartridge look correct.
I only have matte poly and a nonwoven banner material, and it's the same on both.
I can occasionally see it in black text, it will be lighter than it should be.
I've been...
When I print the print head status plot on our HP Latex 570, the black bars have a feathered edge on them. Most of the nozzles seem to be working, and the prints seem fine. I replaced one of the C/K print heads with a new one and am still seeing the same feathered edge. Any Ideas?
I get the same problem on a latex 570 with nonwoven banner material. I think it's the material, here's a picture of a piece that hasn't gone through the printer yet:
It has bumps in it, plus the edges move from side to side.
You are probably right, Photoshop has a rendering intent option, of which the documentation says:
"Many non-PostScript printer drivers ignore this option and use the Perceptual rendering intent."
It's a custom piece of software I wrote. It loads a .jpg image, adds some text to the top and bottom of the image, then prints it using calls to the Windows GDI API. Probably an oversight in the ancient GDI, there's no way to set a rendering intent through the GDI.
I have a Z6200 and am printing to it with a custom piece of software. The driver is set to "Printer Manage Colors" and "sRGB" source profile. My question is with the printer managing the colors, what's the rendering intent? There is no setting for rendering intent anywhere in the driver.
I have a Teleios 180tx textile printer with a RIPSTAR 1.7.2 mainboard. The motor that raises and lowers the capping station will intermittently shake while turning, usually after 10 or 20 minutes of inactivity. I've tried swapping the capping station motor with the wiper motor and the problem...
What version of the firmware do you have? I had some colors coming out wrong, generated a new icc profile and that fixed it. The old profile, done with an older firmware, looked fine when I used it to proof in photoshop, but some colors didn't match when printed.
SourceGraphics in Anaheim CA lists them for $115.46, but I haven't tried ordering from them and I don't think they will ship them. I've gotten some from ITSupplies.com, $135 with free shipping.
