I need the space to be larger between each job print so that Mimaki JV-33 sheet cutter doesn't cut into the CutServer barcode. My old machine was set up this way. So, I know it's possible. Just can't seem to find it.
btw- I'm NOT talking about space between copies within a job... I mean the...
I've shipped them with a dampened lint free cloth then saran wrap and a small rubber band around the perimeter/circumference of the head before. This was to have them reclaimed and they were fine. On the VERY short term I think it is a viable solution.
THANK YOU for answering. I was worried no one would let me know how to do this.
I also have a LOT of opened triangle 20/20 ink. I will PM you with info and prices in case your friend is interested. (We have to sign an OEM ink contract with the new machine).
I am parting out my mimaki that died last week. I want to salvage/sell the heads. How do I clean/flush them before they freeze up? I have them on a lint-free towel soak and I've been pulling ink through twice a day even over the weekend. I need to clean them and detach them ASAP. Thanks.

Looking to see if anyone knows where I can sell the parts or inks (some open, some unopened, all FULL) I haven't used.
The Main Board went, and the black...
I reconnected the power supply to the main board, and DISCONNECTED all of the head cable on the carriage assembly. Still nothing. I though this would at least boot up with 08 head errors across the board.
I guess it's the main board.
I have fixed one thing after another with this machine...
I opened the back, disconnected the power supply from the main board, plugged in and fan went on. I'm guessing this means it is the mother board then.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I just fixed a similar issue on my JV-3 last week.
It was the cartridge sensor. It is a small lever at the bottom of the cartridge well. If you look at the side of your cartridge, with the chip on the upper left, you will see a small rectangular hole (approx 1" x .125") at the bottom. This is...
I just changed the black print-head this morning. I powered up, the printer was going through its warmups (galloping horse & wiping) then the display just shut off. Now, nothing.
The green power button is illuminated. But the display screen and small green light next to the display screen are...
