  1. Signage from the 1930's, any ideas?

I agree after I posted this, I thought Cooper Black would work. Thanks for all of your comments, they've been an interesting read. :) ;)
  2. Signage from the 1930's, any ideas?

This store is my buddy's dad's old gas station, built in the 50's. His son is opening an outfitter's store in the same building and wants to use the same or similar font for his store. I KNOW I've used this font in the past and for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it. I've looked...
  3. L25500 parts for sale

I'm scraping out my perfectly good HP L25500. Everything works on it. I also have an extra L25500 power supply. If you're looking for L25500 parts I may be able to help you. Send me a PM on what you need.
  4. L25500 magenta tends to dro out after awhile

Swapping the print heads fixed our problem, but one other person said to follow the ink lines from the head to the pumps behind the ink take and look for splatter of magenta ink. It could be a ruptured ink line too. I hope this helps.
  5. L25500 magenta tends to dro out after awhile

I apologize for it taking awhile to get back here. I took the side cover off and everything looks good. I don't see bubbles in the ink lines or any spilled ink. I attached a photo.
  6. L25500 magenta tends to dro out after awhile

I have a L25500 that I'm nursing along for a bit. It's running well except I've developed a issue that one of the magenta heads tends to start dropping out and banding on long prints. Short prints are fine. The print heads have been replaced, using OEM ink (what I have left). It's like the head...
  7. Need Help 789 printheads? Know anyone who has one?

I totally agree with you, I bought this printer used and got 4 years out of it, so it definitely doesn't owe me anything, it's just frustrating when something sudden happens and I can't find parts. And I have work stacked up. So I just need to nurse this along to buy me time for me to figure out...
  8. Need Help 789 printheads? Know anyone who has one?

Yeah I saw the Chinese heads on Ebay will probably order some, they're cheap enough. I didn't check CL that's a good idea. Thanks for the ideas :)
  9. Need Help 789 printheads? Know anyone who has one?

Last week I was printing a large logo, everything was printing perfectly. After the print I went to send something else to my L25500 and it stopped and gave me a message to reseat the printhead. OK, I've been through this before, normally I clean the contacts, reseat the head and I'm in...
  10. Clients are idiots

I've been in the createfeild since 1989, I could tell you some stories. Some just make you say "Are you freaking serious!?!?" Ugh can't fix stupid.
  11. HP L25500 Latex - end of media errors on longer runs??

I'm trying to print 2-24" x 96" signs side-by-side on a 54" wide roll of wrap and my printer gets 75% through the job and suddenly cancels the job and displays a "End of Media" error, even though there's plenty of media on the roll. It's done this to me twice now, which is a complete P.I.T.A My...
  12. Advice on mounting a 60" diameter HDU circular sign on a stucco wall?

Thank you! Thank you, you've all been very helpful. I'll look into the wall construction and possibly using a cleat or studs. Happy Holidays!!!
  13. Advice on mounting a 60" diameter HDU circular sign on a stucco wall?

I have a client who wants two circular signs made from 2" thick HDU foam, they'll be 60" in diameter. I have to mount them to a stucco faced wall. There are many existing wall anchors already put in the wall from previous tenants. Paint and stucco are in excellent condition. What would your...
  14. WTB Power supply for HP 25500 latex

Found one, no longer needed. Thnx.
  15. STICKERS for laptops and cars

We use GreenStar on some jobs that the customer isn't planning on it lasting for years. It actually cuts and weeds well. I was impressed considering how cheap it is. I wouldn't use it on long term stuff though.
