  1. 'Regular Shop Vac' on HP FB550

I just had the same issue recently. Honestly being all technical I didn’t go that route. I end up finding a 220v vaccum with same capacity and hooked up. The only thing I did was to retrofit the hose to work with the printer. Much simpler and easier.
  2. Mesh banners tearing in wind

Like people said before why would you put windslits in mesh banner. We had issues scrim 13oz banner on fence and this was before mesh banner was a thing. And Ultraflexx send us this “Wind Slits: Most banner materials are made of an inner scrim constructed of polyester fiber which gives the PVC...

I got 700W that was having same issue. What it turned out to be a simple fix. took literally 6 people to figure out what the issue was. Try this since this fixed my issue. I dont remember exact process but I would say for safety turn off the printer. pull out all the print heads clean the...

  7. Drytac vinyl

Great stuff. I think polar premiums comes certified latex (if you got latex printer). Works pretty well right out of box without any issues. If you got UV printer stay away from the other laminations unless your leaving white edges. But still stay away from cheaper stuff. Not worth the headaches.
  8. Drytac vinyl

We use Drytac for our all our vinyl (Polar Premium, Polar Air, and now Polar Air Plus) and laminations (all of the Interlam Pro). Never has any issues. The monomeric (I think its now called Polar Dynamic) I would stay away from. We stocked it for one year. but we had too many shrinking issues...

  10. Onyx Thrive 19 Slow

The issue is not regarding the ripping of the files. That work fast with no issues. its the issue of opening the "job properties" after the job is ripped. if you close rip-queue and reopen it opens "job properties" right away no glitching, but after 5min it goes back to opening "job properties"...
  11. Onyx Thrive 19 Slow

We have already eliminated this as well. it came with no lock! I think I am not very clear on what I was asking. Basically the files rip fast, no issues there. its when the job is ripped, and you want to go to job properties afterwards it takes times to open up.
  12. Onyx Thrive 19 Slow

Yes, that's the version that was installed. no SSD Opening the job from local disk, Anti-virus turned off and no difference was made.

  14. Please share your tip/trick that will keep this contour cutting catastrophe from happening again

sorry for late reply. We don't use Flexi we use only but given that, we set all values at CutterControl and and in Onyx we choose to not override them! if that makes any sense! Its best you maximize the use of cuttercontrol and create profiles there so that in Summa panel you chance choose what...
  15. Please share your tip/trick that will keep this contour cutting catastrophe from happening again

Best option is to turn on the “panelling” on 4 points in cuttercontrol. It helps A LOT.
