Thats what we thought too. I basically told the tech i didnt believe him at all. We put a new cable on and havent had a single issue with it since.

I actually did try a few different blade offsets ( I should have mentioned that) and it didnt make much of a difference. I ended up getting hold of Roland and they mentioned it could be a faulty board or some wiring inside the machine itself. A tech is scheduled for tomorrow.

I know this is a super old post, but we're having similar issues with a newer GR-640. I would suggest an software update first. It also looks like your perf and contour cuts are on top of each other possibly. I would make sure that you have the perf cut set "outside" of your contour cut. You may...
