I've been noticing my 8 position magenta ink cartridge is emptying much faster than the 7 position magenta. Anyone else experience this?

The size of each sheet will be 4.5"x7.5". These will be full color print and each sheet will have several die cut custom shapes. These can be on any adhesive back paper but it must be matte and able to easily be written on. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
