  1. Application tape not sticking to frosted crystal

Does anyone have issues with this? I believe the tape I'm using is high tack... Some of it comes off fine, but some just won't stick. I've never had this problem with other vinyls. I'm using the 3m frosted crystal.
  2. Pricing

I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times, but I can't seem to find anything on it. I'm curious how everyone here builds out their pricing. I learned at my last job what we charged, came to a new shop and sort of just try to compete with that, and it's worked so far, but I'm wanting to...
  3. Sintra?

This may be a stupid question, but I keep getting asked what the difference is between sintra and PVC. Is there actually a difference? From my understanding they're essentially the same thing.
  4. window perf- highly lit area- bad results

The 80/20 is exactly what you need.
  5. Loading Media Into Hp Fb550

When loading banner, I can't seem to get it to load straight. Seems I have tension and everything's good through take up, and a few in it starts skewing. Any tips on getting it straight the first time? I would love to be able to run this overnight but I can't trust it.
  6. Avery Digital Film Class

Hey all, I work for a company that right now is strictly signage but we really want to get into vehicle wraps. I have assisted doing wraps in the past at other shops I've worked at, so I have some knowledge of it, but it's been a while. My boss approved me to take the Avery class that's coming...
  7. Suggestions Difficult Client. Just Want Opinions.

Sorry to hear about this dude. Difficult clients are difficult clients, no matter what you do for them. I personally would have done a full decal for consistency purposes to begin with, but your idea is certainly better than mounting poster paper to foamcore. If they want what they got in the...
  8. Hp Latex 370, Double Sided Prints

I know how to do double sided prints when the image is the same on both sides. Any tips or tricks on doing it when the print is a different image? I'm using Onyx Poster Shop. I know it's not really "supported" but can be done.
  9. Hp Scitex Fb550, Printing Plywood

Good to know, thanks. I'll stop at Home Depot or Lowes and pick something up.
  10. Hp Scitex Fb550, Printing Plywood

I'm trying to make a sign for my wife as a gift, and I have an old pallet that's an inch thick. I follow all the loading steps, tell it the thickness is an inch to two inches and when the carriage starts to move out to measure the media, it hits it every time. I never have this issue with other...
  11. In LOVE with the hp 570 latex printer

Thanks for the info. That's interesting to know, since I'm running a 370. We got it last year. Must be a recent thing then?
  12. In LOVE with the hp 570 latex printer

What's the difference between the 570 and 370?
  13. What Sewing Machine?

I use this and it's great. It's a little fidgety, at one of the old shops I worked at we had a bigger one that was awesome. Never had any issues. But it's a great little welder and does what it's meant to. Saves on banner tape, time, and is an overall better product.
  14. Best HP Latex for lower volume shop?

I have a 370. LOVE it. I've ran Mutoh, Vutek, Expedio. It's the most maintenance free, hands off printer I've worked with. You probably don't need the 370, it has all the upgrades and features, but as far as the HP Latex printers go, they are amazing.
