  1. Vinyl by the yard

I will look them over too. Always good to have a few more vendors in today's climate. Thanks!
  2. Vinyl by the yard

We have a winner! I called and they are good to go. Thanks and have a great day.
  3. Vinyl by the yard

Unfortunately, this is a one off for the police chief's vehicle and it does not use that much vinyl. I considered it, but felt the markup was a bit high for one of my bread and butter clients.
  4. Vinyl by the yard

What I was after specifically was 15" punched 280 reflective in black. My portal only offers 10yd min. I was thinking about calling in to them this morning. Thanks for the research though.
  5. Vinyl by the yard

With Grimco slowly buying out all of it's competitors, the latest being Denco (my main supplier and before that Midwest) I am having trouble buying certain vinyls by the yard. In many cases, I can justify buying larger rolls. I have jobs that just cannot justify buying larger rolls that will sit...
  6. High Resolution side shots of trucks

Freepik has been promising, but there are not a lot of modern reg cab trucks there. I may have to modify one.
  7. High Resolution side shots of trucks

Done that with poor results. Still trying. Thought I would ask here to speed up my efforts. Thanks though.
  8. High Resolution side shots of trucks

Hi, I have a project that will need a side shot of a newer F250 regular cab truck. This pic is not for a template but for a layout on another vehicle. Do any of you have go to sources for a nice squared up side view of a newer Ford F250 regular cab trucks? Thanks, T
  9. Wanting Design Software recommendations....!

Maybe a bit of an outlier, but I use Gerber Omega. But, I also have Illustrator and Photoshop in my arsenal. I agree about Flexi and only use it's RIP software when printing. Ultimately, it will end up being the one that isn,t buggy and you get used to and can use quickly and intuitively.
  10. Rant Vector drawing,,,Have we gone back 40 years?

You and I have lived a similar sign career. I am now 55. I was in bed with Gerber since 95 and still use their software to this day. I have Flexi for RIP, Illustrator to open certain files when sent to me from designers among other types of software. I find Gerber Omega to be an excellent vector...
  11. The Vaccine - you going to take it or no?

Interesting how this thread has evolved over the last couple of years.
  12. Gerber scientific stop manufacturing machines..real or not?

I have had and still have Gerber GS15+ and an EdgeFX. They work along side my HP 315 and Graphtec. There are just certain things the the FX could do that my large format printer could not like print on clear and do real short runs fast with no need of laminate and less waste. That aside, I am so...
  13. Help with Gerber GS-15 Plus

You can import your Corel and Ilustrator files into Omega and cut from there. Again, your software is fine. I use mine daily and believe I make some pretty nice stuff. I also use Omega to design vector files for my cnc. Vcarve just is not that good compared to Omega when designing, at least...
  14. Help with Gerber GS-15 Plus

What version of software? Gerber Graphics Advantage or Omega? I still use Omega version 7 and find it very capable. Upgrades are reasonable and run on my Win10 64bit just fine. As far as the GS15+, start with cleaning it. All that gunk on the sprockets will encourage the roll to jump. Clean the...
