update: It was printing only a small piece and the Cr was set to "data" instead of "Machine". I f I make it go the full width it prints fiune.. almost like it is going too fast to feed the magenta.. Definitely a new problem!!

I do a head clean and the nozzle check works perfectly then it stops printing magenta after about 2 inches of print. Do another head clean, nozzle check is perfect.. 2 inches of printing no more magenta. Its a new cartridge and makes no difference. Was printing fine then sat for about 4 hours...

Anyone have experience with white ink in these printers? I purged and circulated the white but we haven't printed much white over the las 6 months or so.. does the white deteriorate over time? It looks great on a prime but solid white has a light blue look to it.

Thanks Gino.. I topped the tanks up with the same ink we were using before and one of the bulbs got replaced a week ago and I replaced the second bulb when this starting happening... no difference...

Fired up the printer yesterday am and the ink suddenly came out glossy. Both bulbs have been replaced and the shutters are definitely opening. It appears to be just cyan and black (K) that smudge after a prime... Any ideas?
