  1. DIY replacing head on arizona 250gt

That was the first thing I asked for when we heard they were discontinuing support. they said no. It looks to me like they don't want to keep it alive.
  2. DIY replacing head on arizona 250gt

OCE will not even talk about the 250gt anymore. So, I'd have to find an independent service tech, and I frankly don't know where to look. I'm still feeling pretty burned by Oce with their end of support on this machine. even if I could find a service key, I wonder if it would still be valid?

Thanks. I have a friend who has done a head replacement before. Doesn't the 3xxx series use CA4 heads? My printer has CA3 heads. Are these interchangeable?
  4. DIY replacing head on arizona 250gt

Hey folks. I have an AZ 250GT. It's doing quite well except one magenta head has a large swath of clogged nozzles. I'm not sure if it's a clog or head failure. 7. roll media option for 250GT?

I'm looking at an oce 250Gt with the roll media option. Does anyone have a strong opinion about these and is it worth the extra cake?
  8. things to look for when checking out a used oce?

I'm going to be looking at some used fuji and oce flatbed machines. I think it's worthwhile to actually go see the machines in person. I'm going to check print quality of course- is there a checklist somewhere of things I should inspect, listen for, smell, etc- telltale signs that a machine...
  9. Trying to refurbish some old neon signs, need parts

I'm trying to refurb some 1980's indoor neon signs from an arcade. (Dream Machine) Most of the signs are in decent shape, but they need new plastic clips to hold the neon in place on the background, and spacers to separate the tubes from each other, and a few insulating covers. the old clips...

  11. Greetings from VT

Hello to everyone.. thanks for providing a terrific resource. I do not run a sign shop exactly, but I have a strong appreciation for signage of all types and use some of the same equipment. I've been a designer (2d, 3d, animation) for over 25 years, and have been in the print business for about...
