  1. Does any clear plastic actually block UV???

Thanks--- i am getting the picture. As far as 2 part auto clearcoats, is there a matte finish option that will give long-term outdoor uv protection? is it better by far than clearshield UV... which adds a few years?
  2. Does any clear plastic actually block UV???

So I have some panels to make... probably will be flatbed to ACS... and i am wondering if anyone has come up with a rigid clear plastic panel that could simply be sandwiched over the ACS (with edge moldings) to provide long-term outdoor UV resistance. This could be pretty thick if it has good...
  3. Hanging Backlit sign in window

I need a couple of 1 sided sign cans with lighting to hang in some windows. They need to be about 10" tall by 40" wide. Snap frames with petg lenses would be OK. My old "go to's" went & gone. Who makes these now? Any help appreciated.
  4. Decorative routing into ACS? Does it work?

What did you use for an endmill? Flat or v-groove... and how deep did you go? Did it weaken the material noticeably... because the big 3 x 8 oval is going to be raised up on standoffs? Thanks

  8. Free Equipment

I run a 5500 every day and they are great machines! The PS is particularly great, but once there is an electrical issue (such as fried board) they are pretty much toast. It seems that all of the electronics kind of die together. If you are thinking of getting into the 5500s, I would take this...

  11. Applying vinyl lettering to latex painted walls

Hi everybody- Just looking for some tips as we are looking at a bunch of 6' circumference columns that need to be painted and lettered... or wrapped. It would be way easier and cost-effective to apply vinyl to the painted surface (just a 1' x 7' vertical word on a solid color)... but how do I...
  12. Trump Construction Signs...

I think it is time to see this mess:
  13. Trump Construction Signs...

So I notice that nobody is talking about computer cutting 600 characters and a 2-COLOR logo. Even if you can get a $75 board... what do you charge for a tight packed vinyl applcation?
  14. Trump Construction Signs...

We pay $160 for painted blank delivered. Guess it's just where you are...
  15. Trump Construction Signs...

If I go out of pocket $250, to keep the door swinging I need to charge $500.
