    Go ahead and at least try setting it up using the VP300 driver....pretty sure the VS printer will work just fine. I have done that when I had an older version of Flexi :)

    When you have aligned your "sheet" of vinyl...meaning pinch wheels lowered, the lcd will say "Roll 2 something, something...". Hit enter button on graphtec (this will send the cutter head out to "measure the media". If you are using 24" media, the lcd should say something in the neighborhood...

    so you mean that your media is shifting closer to the control center side of the machine, not that the printer is printing off edge...How many rollers are you using? 2-3...

    The slit in the media holder flaps shoud be right about to the edge of whatever you are printing on (give or take whatever you feel comfortable with...at least that was what I was told). The print area is always within the inside edges of your outermost rollers...

    Update: The Roland rep showed up today to diagnose the problems. Luckily it wasn't the heads hitting that metal cover awhile back, just the front lip of the print carriage. So...we all decided the metal piece is very insignificant, and I decided that if the screw holes had to be "wallered"...
