We also have problems with transfer tape causing clearshield to separate from the print on glossy vinyl, when use print&contur cutt combination, ecosolvent ink. We tried everything: print on different ecosol machine (Epson, Mimaki, Mutoh), longer drying, change liquid laminate, change transfer...

Had old Mutoh Rockhopper I 62, I sold it 10 years ago. I think I also used D-link DP-301P+ print server.

Using jetbest ink (500ml ink bottle with refill cartridge, plug & print system) over 10 years. First used them on an old Mutoh Rockhopper I with DX2 printheads, last 7 years using jetbest on a printer with DX5 printhead. No problem so far. Durability and scratch resistance is ok.

Think the problem is with the ink&refill, especially cyan.

Used Cutting Master 3 & Graphtec CE600 for several yerars. The way you described is the easiset way. I used that way too.

This type of job we apply dry always with Orafol pvc transfer tape.

I used jetbest ink on Mutoh Rockhopper I with DX2 printhead for several years with no problems. I suppose it can be used on FJ-52 with same heads (supose other parts are solvent resistant).

Hi, as I can see, think that have this model, but mine is Apollo 210. I bought it from www.trimalco.com. Laser is the same, and not so useful. I use two limiter on bottom ruller for precise cutting. But for exactly 90 degree cutting you need to check Apollo 210 for squarness. Here is the manual...

I agree, LPT to USB is the best option. On my old Roland cx-24 I tried several LPT to USB cables from different manufacturers. Some worked, some did not. Another option is the LPT card for the laptop, but you should try it on FC4100. Or get an older, used laptop with a LPT port.
