I had the exact same problem with 210 on the hand laminator. Changed nothing except the material to 290 and it's been flawless.

Thanks for the reply. While either machine will suit our needs, we were leaning toward the Summa based on some features and our experience with the brand & support. I was just inquiring to see the actual outcome of thermal prints in general that come out.

I have some panels of solid colors I'd like to send and have color-matched (printed & laminated). I would be looking for one to be done right now and if it comes out good, then will have quite a bit more.
