  1. Lexan sign face question

Lexan has a side that is UV resistant and a side that isn't. I wouldn't just flip it around. Another thing is that your hanging strips will be on the wrong side if you flip it around. Dan
  2. Trouble finding a true RED

Personally I use Adobe RGB but I also have a monitor that can render the Adobe RGB color space. Many monitors can't so in effect if you're using Adobe RGB on a monitor that can't render the full Adobe RGB you're basically working blind with some colors hence the suggestion to use sRGB just to be...
  3. Trouble finding a true RED

For starters, do your design and layout using sRGB - that's what your RIP expects and works best with. Then try R-222 G-0 B-0. That should do the trick. Dan
  4. Scanning Images into Vector Art

This method works really well a lot of the time. A heck of a lot faster than getting the "media department" to send you a vector file. Failing that, I hand trace a locked bitmap. Dan

I'm surprised he didn't bound and gag her and throw her in the back of his pickup. Dan
  7. A wrap that makes people call 911

You know what I hate about "Reality TV"? Too much damn drama! Back to the tailgate - bet the guy that thought that one up thinks he's a marketing genius - personally, I think he's a marketing moron. That type of, so called marketing, is destined to backfire. How could it not? Just my opinion...
  8. New Artist Font, Saddle, by Noel Weber

That ought to elicit a painfully verbose response! Dan
  9. Can I stop in and talk?

  11. Anyone know what this font is?

Anyone know what this font is? Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks, Dan
  12. How to ruin a $65k Car?

I came real close to stabbing myself in the eye with a stencil knife - you should have put some kind of warning in the title! Dan
  13. How do you work with the limited art board size?

I just cringe every time I receive one of those "young creAtives" production ready files. It means I have my work cut out for me! Far too many of the "young creAtives" assume that a sign shop will be outputting their artwork on a web offset printer and provide their artwork in the CMYK colour...
  14. Measuring items in a photo...

Brilliant! Used this method half a dozen times in the last two days. Dan
  15. Best plotter for contour cutting laminated graphics ?

You can't go wrong with the Summa. Best I've ever seen for accuracy. Dan
