looking for someone local that is familiar with a sp300v, it was left sitting and now has several issues,i am not in the sign biz anymore and would like to get it working properly so that i can sell the unit. any help would be appreciated.

all the ones that i have done and have seen done trim back and edge seal, not make the bend.

I hate to be niave( if thats how its spelled) but what exactly is the job of the dampers?? store ink to supply to the head? just a guess and how could they fail to produce this mess?? just want to know for future troubleshooting... Thanks.

have you tried any hobby stores, these are similar to the ones used on the fuel lines on the nitro r/c cars.

I was having a problem with some bad ink clogging my magenta/yellow head, finally got everything clean now i have this disasterous mess printing. Anyone ever see this?? any ideas what it could be from? bad head now?? I have done several powerful cleans, switched the ribbon cables, pulled fresh...

I was actually reselling vistaprint products for a while, made some money on the jobs but they were horrible to deal with. Shipping on all of the products was slow, color/quality was often very poor. Tell the customer that if they want an off the shelf "big box store" product then go ahead but...

thanks pro wraps, but from what I have seen in the countless posts, links and websites, they all seem to point to me falling in to a common error of moving/removing the ribbon cable while the machine was either on or plugged in. If you have another direction to suggest I am all ears. Thanks.

I have a sp300v that will not print yellow or magenta at all, I can only assume that I blew a fuse moving the ribbon cable while cleaning a clog in the yellow line.
