  1. Mutoh ValueJet

You guys are talking like this is a "new pricing" structure for Mutoh. According to their people on the floor today, these are trade show only pricing. I specifically asked if these prices were good after the show and was told that this was not the new pricing of the units, only for the show.
  2. Aurora Print Craft AND Print Craft 2 OR Print Craft 2?

Fred, you definitely made me go back and look at my Aurora catalog with a fine tooth comb. You are right. The way they layout the thumbnails made me believe they were tileable, but they indeed are fills. Thanks for the tip on the Plotter Art. I'll check that out.
  3. Aurora Print Craft AND Print Craft 2 OR Print Craft 2?

Thanks, Fred. I'll check out that product, but I am confused by what you're saying though. Printcraft by Aurora is seamless tiles. How would that be the wrong product? Are you thinking of say the Wrap Experts pre-designed textures? I really appreciate your input. That's why I'm here; to...
  4. Aurora Print Craft AND Print Craft 2 OR Print Craft 2?

Thanks Fred. Actually, I had not looked at it yet. I'm just going through the catalogs I have on hand.
  5. Aurora Print Craft AND Print Craft 2 OR Print Craft 2?

Nevermind. Just saw in the Fellers fall catalog there is now a Print Craft Suite that is all of the Print Craft versions combined.
  6. Aurora Print Craft AND Print Craft 2 OR Print Craft 2?

I'm looking at the Aurora catalog, and I can't seem to make out if one would want both Print Craft and Print Craft 2, or if you get Print Craft 2, do you not need the first one? It looks like the graphics in 2 are better...but that's just judging by the thumbnails. Anyone here have any input?
  7. Why Thermal?

As in thermal being more accurate? My only experience with thermal printers is printing photo ID badges. Color consistency was ok. Cost of the ribbons was insane. Hugely wasteful also.
  8. PC-600 usability

True. I guess I was assuming since it was a Roland it was a good product worth having. Anyone care to recommend a good print cut that would be good for portability?
  9. PC-600 usability

Harsh responses for a Roland product. What would be the tool of choice as a mobile print and cut?
  10. PC-600 usability

Thanks! What about using the PC-600 as a mobile print / cut? Like using it just for shows, events, etc. I mean, if I had a versacamm, I definitely wouldnt be packing it for use on the road.
  11. PC-600 usability

Thanks for the advice. Keep an eye out for my versacamm questions. :) Highimpact, thanks for the link in your sig. I enjoyed it.
  12. PC-600 usability

For an intro, I'm equipping for a startup graphics business. I want to focus on wraps in the future, but for now we'll be doing a lot of vinyl cutting. I currently have a Roland Camm-1 Pro 36". I'm looking at a PC-600 (for $2000) as a backup to the Camm-1 cutter, and do to the multi color...
