  • It is possible to print outdoor banners. We do it all the time. The problem compared to solvent is the banner material is way more expensive and it scratches way to easy for a banner. It will fade quicker then solvent but should be fine for most temporary installations like 6 months and possibly up to a year. We don't have a laminator either. Get a Big Squeege and you'll fell like you will never need a laminator. It will be the best money you have spent. Even with that standard film lamination on scrim banner isn't really the best solution. It's really not meant for that type of material and will just add to the already expensive material costs. If you want to laminate your banners use clearshield liquid laminate.
