  1. Roland Sp540v How is yours hooked up?

From an IT standpoint its pretty standard that most printers will not operate well on UPS's. We here in the lightning strike captial of North America simply use a decent surge protector and stay up to date on insurance. Good luck.
  2. Sp540 no yellow or magenta

Those pins will break easily if the dampeners are not lifted straight up. Just poor design IMO.
  3. Sp540 no yellow or magenta

ive had a similar issue and it could be ugly. where the ink comes in the lines and enters a plastic blatter above the head. check to make sure is full of ink. the problem we had is the pin or nipple that the blatter or dampener sits on was cracked at the base (Top of the Print Head) and air...
  4. VersaWorks or Flexi?

I use Versaworks when Flexi wont behave. is there a good resource to get that color management training?
  5. print but will stop cutting

limited hard drive space caused this in the past for me. if your running partitions your print spooler usually runs on your C: drive so if you are running multiple partitions and your C: drive is curtailed to only enough space to run your OS you may have a problem. just an option.

  9. Roland SP-540V prints white lines

Your encoder strip may be dirty in that specific area, try gently wiping the strip with a lint free cloth. be carefull not to kink it.
  10. White spots on banner

while spots Ive never used Ready2Print but I have seen in the past where I had some old material that I am assuming was contaminated with something becase the ink would avoid the material leaving white spots everwhere like someone sprayed white paint through a spray bottle. It only happended...
