I double agree, 1) many people will give ther own preference, it's up to you to weight the pros and cons, and 2) I recommend the latex line as well, caveat: I do not own one, but if I was to buy another printer, it would be a HP latex.

I'm pretty sure they are the same, only difference between the two is the downforce pressure (software) be sure to check on your cutting strip more often! it kills the cutting strip a lot faster.

NFC is a chip. you cannot print a chip ;) it would have to be an addon embedded in the vinyl or under it. it will also be a lot more expensive than a QR code, and you will need to stand next to it to get information, wheras you can simply take a picture of a qr code. pros: you cannot see it...

Hi, I looked into this a few years back, turns out there is now an inkjet compatible film which is compatible with the durabrite line of inks. It's still too expensive for me, however. I dont think there's a market for it in my neck of the woods.

The Vinyl was applied at the exact position the client wanted. Thanks Man, I didn't even have to trim any of the overlaps! I've settled on beginners luck ;) they are overlapped 0.200inches. The only thing I'm worried about now, as someone mentioned in the portfolio board) is the client pressure washing the truck.
