  1. Wrap installer needed

    Tradewraps is out of Manassas.
  2. Contract designer database/contacts?

Was looking to expand network of contract designers. Would like the option to have different designers for logos or signs to basic commercial and wild custom wraps. Is there a source of contract designer contacts and portfolios versus scouring through linkedin and the like? Thanks.
  3. Rawk Car - Wrap MCC Smart.

It's cake if you pop them out. Only problem is you have to take off the whole a side of the car to do so.
  4. Issue with 2015 sprinter channels

Guess Noone has had experience with the paint imperfections in the channels yet. I'll give my 15 sprinter tips: 1. Mirror plug behind window switch is clutch. 2. Tuck every channel and roll/relief cut deep channels. 3. Don't remove lower plastic trim. They have one use body clips. I...
  5. New Ford Transit kicking our rear end....

Primer. Tack just a 6 inch piece at center leaving 5 inches to body line and a few inches above loose. Using heat gun roll (vcat or roller l) channel proper heat and speed. Relief cut and lam tape suggested and usually okay with educated customer. Post heat.
  6. Wraped edges vs cut

And unfortunatelyunfortunately now 3m certs are about as good as the paper its on.
  7. Wraped edges vs cut

For a pillar seams there will be something coming to split seams cleanly. Seamless wraps isn't a problem cutting on wide side. Single panels you would need to cut cleanly between the seam without this tool to wrap both edges. Fir other seams on single panel wraps you choose which side you can...

  9. Issue with 2015 sprinter channels

Just had 2 more roll in Friday. You can visibly see paint drips in the inner channel. Customer refuses to relief cut. I highly suggest relief cutting and lamtaping 15 sprinters. Even with 480.
  10. Issue with 2015 sprinter channels

Using 180v3 with primer. Rolled with heat gun and both vcat amd roller L. Both look to conform well. I appears in spots it still leaves small, almost invisible bubble. Running the hard edge of a squeegee up the bare channel I feel a small bump where there may be an imperfection in body. I've had...
  11. Working outdoors in enclosed tent?

Thank you. I assume short of durability and hazards, blocking the wind and a heater had a marked improvement for you?
  12. Working outdoors in enclosed tent?

And fyi the a local business park/warehouse can be your friend for daily rates on vacant units. RV storage units can sometimes offer indoor spaces for the big guys on the daily.
  13. Working outdoors in enclosed tent?

I'm on the road lot and do on site installs. Unfortunately outdoors sometimes happens. Keep in mind this is NC. No wind Shade Fans pulling would cool it easy No rain My question was will a kerosene heater do anything in an enclosed canopy. I can handle ventilation. Just hoping...
  14. Working outdoors in enclosed tent?

I was thinking but getting a 10x20 enclosed tent for working outdoors. The insulation would be minimal, but hoping someone has tried this method with powerful fans in hot or in my current predicament, a kerosene heater. This wouldn't be for full commercial (print/lam). My hopes aren't high...
