Have had success with a citrus based cleaner on unlam'd white board vinyl for a couple of years which I didn't expect, so maybe worth a try.

We get them from Ullrich Aluminium up here, I imagine you'd have one there. Not sure about best pricing though, haven't shopped around much yet.
